The Isle of Man lies midway between mainland Britain and Ireland, in the middle of the Gulf Stream, which means that it enjoys one of the mildest climates in the British Isles. The island has over 100 miles of beautiful coastline with dunes, rocky
cliffs, sweeping beaches and secluded coves, whilst inland there are mountains, unspoilt moorland, glens and woods. The capital, Douglas, is a working harbour as well as a traditional holiday resort offering lots to see and do, with great shops, award winning museums, and a beautiful promenade. We cross to the Island via the Heysham/Douglas ferry, and during our stay we will include a visit to the world’s largest water wheel at Laxey Village, and enjoy a scenic ride on the award winning Manx Electirc Railway, travelling along the East Coast of the island, as well as tours to see the best of the island, with the help of a knowledgeable local guide.
