Enjoy a morning visit & guided tour of Piece Hall, a unique Grade I listed building dating back to 1779, originally built to support the trading of ‘pieces’ of cloth. Followed by an afternoon visit to Shibden Hall, the setting of the recent TV series “Gentleman Jack”, dating back to 1420, it offers visitors a fascinating journey through the lives of the people who lived and worked there, including the noted diarist Anne Lister. (Coach access to Shibden Hall necessitates a steep woodland walk, and therefore would not be suitable for anyone usingwalking aids, wheelchairs or scooters)
