A phenomenal anniversary is approaching as England marks the 400years since the “Mayflower” ship set sail for the new land of America. On-board, were the “separatists”, a breakaway group from the
established Church who risked religious persecution if caught. Relive the drama as the “Pilgrim Fathers” made their way from our local villages, where the seeds of thought were sown in secret, to the shipbuilding
south. These tours touch on areas not usually promoted within coach touring programmes with village visits in
Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire where the roots of the moment are found. Explore Boston and Harwich and a
totally different side of London on the river banks of Rotherhithe.
On our second pilgrim excursion, we travel to Boston. We have included guided visits to
the Boston Guild Hall & Cell, The Stump and Boston Cathedral, where we have Coffee &
Cake. There is also a bustling market in Boston on Wednesdays for you to explore.
