Paignton, on the South Devon Coastline, is the base for our “Turkey & Tinsel” break. Known as the jewel in the crown of the English Riviera, and centrally located between Torquay & Brixham. Paignton is a popular holiday resort and from here, we can visit local attractions including Newton Abbott Market, a beautifully restored Victorian Market Hall, filled with stalls selling everything under the sun, and onto Trago Mills, a unique discount & leisure experience. We have also included a train ride on board Dartmouth Steam Railway from Paignton to Dartmouth, one of the finest steam train trips along the coast, overlooking the River Dart, climbing high among the hills and crossing three Brunel viaducts. The festivities at our hotel include welcome drinks, mulled wine, Christmas Dinner, and a visit from Santa with a gift, festive themed quiz, an optional theatre visit, a cocktail & canapé reception and nightly entertainment.
Staying at The Queens Hotel, this cosy hotel enjoys a flat level position just 200 yards from Paignton town centre and seafront. All guestrooms are en suite & offer the usual refinements including TV & refreshment facilities. It has a dance floor and offers evening entertainment. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool. Our stay is on a half board basis, with a festive entertainment package. A lift serves all floors.
