Join us for this Easter weekend break to the southern counties and enjoy the thrill of a train ride on two of the country’s best known preserved railway lines. Visiting the town of Tenterden, with its antique shops and tea rooms, where we board the Kent & East Sussex Railway for a steam train ride to Bodiam and onto the Port of Rye. Along with a trip to Sheffield Park Station, home of the famous Bluebell Railway, with a round trip on board the train through the pleasant scenery, and onto the seaside town of Brighton.
Staying at The Mecure Tunbridge Wells 4*Hotel, which stands on the outskirts of the town in Penbury. It is built in the style of a traditional Kentish oast house and offers excellent accommodation. All guestrooms are en suite and contain the usual refinements, including flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and drinks facilities. This hotel also boasts an indoor swimming pool & sauna. Our stay is on a half board basis.
