The Battle of Waterloo, which took place in Belgium
on 18th June 1815, marked the final defeat of
French Military leader Napoleon Bonaparte. During
this tour, we can retrace some of the steps with
inclusive visits to Ypres, famous for the costly battles
fought during World War I, where the enormous,
reconstructed, Lakenhalle houses the In-Flanders
Field Museum, which provides a multi-sensory
experience combining soundscapes, videos and
exhibits. The Wellington Museum with a Waterloo
“Pass 1815” which includes six battlefield
attractions and a guided walking tour of Ghent, the
capital of East Flanders. Of course, no tour to
Belgium would be complete without a visit to the
chocolate capital of Bruges, where we will visit a
local chocolatier outlet.
North Sea Ferry, Return overnight crossings on P &
O ferries from Hull to Zeebrugge in two berth inside
cabins, with an inclusive meal package on board.
